The ABLE pin is a great way to promote awareness of your agency’s participation in the ABLE Project.  There are a number of different ways to use the pin.  Some agencies will want to make them available to every officer who has been ABLE trained; others may want to share them only with instructors, ambassadors, and others who go above and beyond to help ABLE succeed.  Whomever they are shared with, the ABLE pin is a graphic representation that the wearer is ready and willing to intervene in another officer’s conduct to prevent harm, and, as importantly, the wearer authorizes others to intervene in his/her own conduct.
